Accommodation at Chobe Chilwero Lodge is in fifteen individually designed, elegant thatched cottages. Luxurious en suite bathrooms are equipped with sunken baths and both indoor and outdoor showers. The rooms look out over the expansive Chobe River and have a private terrace and garden.
Care is taken over the cuisine and the wine list, and a high tea is served in the afternoon. Chobe Chilwero’s main lodge has a library, curio shop and communications center. Guests can relax by the swimming pool or indulge in an in-room spa treatment.
Activities are largely tailored around your interests. Take part in boat based water safaris, game drives through Chobe National Park or fishing excursions up the Chobe River. Chobe National Park is densely populated by elephant and is also home to lion, hippo, buffalo, various antelope and about four hundred different species of birds.
Although located in Botswana, this intimate lodge is easily accessed from Zambia and the world famous Victoria Falls. Guests can enjoy a day trip to visit the Falls if desired
