Located in the Southern part of the Linyanti Game Reserve, Savuti Camp is has long been a firm favorite with seasoned safari goers. It is unpretentious and in a superb location. May it never change!
Savuti offers five large walk-in Meru tents. Each en-suite tent is fitted with all the necessary amenities as well as a shower, hand basin and separate reed and thatch dining room.
Game drives in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve are purely exciting for the proximity of the existing wildlife but in fact some of the best game viewing is actually from the camp itself.
The intimate camp is situated next to one of Linyanti Wildlife Reserve's few waterholes drawing all the big game and their predators to the area.
Although Savuti Camp is within the borders of the Chobe National Park, activities are unlimited. Here you can go on game drives and safari walks under the supervision of an armed guide.
Exciting night drives reveal interesting nocturnal animals like the very adorable bush babies, spring hare, aardwolf, serval, genet and pangolin.
For those who prefer to watch and wait patiently, there are strategically placed elevated hides - great for photographers.
Overlooking the active waterhole are the private decks of Savuti Camp's walk-in tents as well as the main deck comprising a thatched dining area, pub and swimming pool.
