In most years it flows in both directions with water pushing 'up' from the Linyanti waterways and also 'down' from the west, fed by the waters of the Okavango Delta.

Surrounded by floodplains and little palm islands, the camp is located in a pleasant shady grove. It is set a little way off the ground for minimal impact and faces the extraordinary floodplains of the Selinda.

There are nine tented suites under thatch. The rooms have large comfortable beds, fine linen and select antique collectibles. Flowing mosquito nets and romantic 'plunka plunka' ceiling fans create a feeling of romance and colonial safari history. The en-suite bathrooms have generous bath tubs and beautiful antique showers.

Guests can either relax and soak in the views from the privacy of their raised veranda's or sink into a comfortable chair on the deck under cool thatch in the main lounge area. There is always lots of animal activity just in front of the camp. A secluded plunge pool isperfect for cooling off between game viewing excursions. Evening meals are served in an open air dining area accompanied by wines from a well stocked cellar. There is also a small artifacts and jewelry store.

Game drives are led by professional local guides into the abundant Selinda Reserve. There is no set routine here, and guests are free to dictate their own " safari rhythm".
