Xudum Delta Lodge is located in a watery part of the Botswana's Delta and offers a classic Okavango safari experience. The camp overlooks a permanent lagoon which is home to a resident family of hippo and is frequented by water-loving lechwe and sitatunga antelope.
The most unique feature at Xudum are the rooftop hideouts on top of each of the private suites from where guests can look down through the tree tops and across this pristine wetland paradise. Or...enjoy a private dinner up there under the stars.
There are nine en-suite units decorated in a contemporary 'earthy glam' way with a lot of recycled elements. Each suite has its own good sized private plunge pool and veranda. The bath tubs are big and luxurious and there is a choice of indoor or outdoor showers. The main guest area is also playfully decorated and guests are encouraged to get involved and have fun in the kitchen if desired.
The game viewing experience at Xudum is primarily water-based. There is nothing more memorable than gliding quietly along the Delta's waterways and getting close to the tiny details of mother nature. These safaris are by traditional dug out mokoros. Of course land safaris in 4x4sare also offered.
