Seba Camp is one of the last remaining wilderness areas in Africa and this rarity makes it a hotspot for wildlife film-makers and travellers alike! Enjoy the camp's innovative, yet luxurious approach to accommodation blending in perfectly with the surrounding unspoiled nature.
The camp consists of elevated tents which come complete with en-suite bathrooms and private decks. The tents are beautifully decorated with indigenous materials and local arts and crafts, simply adding elegance and charm to the ambience of the Seba Camp.
During the winter, the water rises around the Seba Camp transforming it into a water wonderland! The annual flooding allows for scenic mokoro and motor-boat rides around the area making it an ideal way to view the wildlife and enjoy oneself tremendously.
These boat rides also allow for a spot of fishing if the urge should arise! However, for keen ornithologists, this is the perfect opportunity to view the 380 different bird species found in the area.
During the dry season, the game can be viewed by both foot and during a game drive. The reserve boasts a fantastic elephant herd, as research of elephant behaviour is conducted by the Seba Camp.
Guests can watch the researchers and gain closer access to the elephants and besides this, the camp also houses other popular wildlife such as zebra, lion and buffalo.
Seba Camp offers game drives during the evening, combining the animals in their nocturnal habitat with the famous magic of the African night sounds.
