Mvuu Wilderness Lodge, on the banks of the Shire River running through Malawi, accommodates ten guests in spacious en suite tents with verandahs that look onto the adjacent lagoon. A cosy stone and thatched suite is used for honeymooners. Cedarwood decking encloses a natural rock pool at the Mvuu main lodge where a thatched dining room, pub and lounge complete the leisure space. The contrasting terrains of the park teem with animal and bird life making for highly rewarding game drives and guides are bound to uncover something unique on morning, afternoon and night drives. Recently introduced black rhino join Liwonde National Park’s population of elephant, sable, hippo, waterbuck, crocodiles, leopard, serval and more.
