Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp has been built near the top of a mountain overlooking the desert. The use of rock, brick, timber and thatch gives the lodge a very cosy and eclectic feel and provides a comfortable refuge from the harsh desert.
Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp is situated 20km from Sesriem, the park's entrance to the Sossusvlei dunes, which rise dramatically more than 300m above the surrounding plains. The camp's location provides easy access to Sossusvlei, at the same time as offering privacy and exclusivity
The 9 guest rooms at Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp, each each has its own private plunge pool. The bedrooms are well appointed and offer comfort and atmosphere with wonderful views onto the desert plains below. Lise's thoughts on Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp The location of Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp is superb as it is close to the famous Sossusvlei Dunes, but is also in a pristine wilderness area.
Because of the elevated position, the views from the rooms are superb and I just wanted to stay in my plunge pool and watch the colours change.
