Periwinkle Lodge. Across the road from the popular Robberg Beach, six of the light and breezy en-suite rooms at Periwinkle Lodge offer panoramic vistas with sea and mountain views from each balcony. Offering comfortable and simplistic leisure, the seven rooms are equipped with hairdryers, overhead fans, TV’s and coffee making facilities as well as offering a laundry service, in-room safe and luggage storeroom.

After a full English breakfast at Periwinkle Lodge, enjoy a day of sun and swimming across to the vast stretch of pristine beach that fronts Periwinkle Lodge otherwise venture into town for a bite to eat in one of the seventy bustling restaurants and bars.

Schedule a game of golf at some of South Africa’s finest golf courses, spot a tail-lobbing whale and once you’ve done it all, scrumptious dinners can be pre-arranged and served on Periwinkle Lodge’s sea facing balcony. For intrepid and active guests, a plethora of adventure sports and activities await, like bungee jumping at the Bloukrantz Bridge (one of the highest jumps in Africa).

Take part in an organised boat trip to see Brydes whales and schools of swimming dolphins as well as hiking through the Garden Route’s Tsitsikamma forests- a definite must for nature lovers as the scenery along the Robberg Peninsula is truly spectacular!

With the exquisite town of Knysna only 30 minutes away and plenty of oysters to be eaten and champagne to be drunk, a day trip along the Garden’s Routes Coast is just another option awaiting you and your family.
