Manyeleti
Admired by conservationists for its healthy ecosystem, on game drives you will see a wide range of plains game, predators and over 400 documented bird species. Manyeleti Private Game Reserve is perfect for families and offers luxurious accommodation. As it is dryer in the Manyeleti than further south, the animals are often to be found at the waterholes. The Reserve shares a fenceless border with the Kruger National Park.
If your children want to see lions and elephants close up, then Manyeleti is the place to bring them as all ages are welcomed on game drives. The luxury tented safari camps of Honeyguide and Tintswalo Game Lodge welcome children of all ages. You can even take them on a foot safari and learn more about the abundant bird, insect and plant life surrounding the camps.

| Getting to the Manyeleti |
|
Manyeleti is about a five hour direct drive from Johannesburg. There are also daily flights from Johannesburg into Hoedspruit Airport, followed by a road transfer of 45 minutes. Alternatively there are daily charter flights with Nel Air into the Manyeleti Reserve. If you are flying into the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Nelspruit, a "lodge-hop" will drive you into the reserve.

| Best time to visit the Manyelti |
|
The best time to visit is from July to mid October. During these months, it is dry and cool offering pleasant game viewing weather. As there is not much rainfall during winter in the reserve, the animals congregate around the waterholes so are easier to find. The bush is also thinner. Summer is the rainy season. The bush is green and lush and much thicker making game harder to spot.
