Mala Mala Sable Camp
Mala Mala Sable Camp is situated at the southern end of the MalaMala Camp in a prime elevated position overlooking the Sand River and surrounding bush. Sable Camp at Mala Mala is an ideal retreat for the more reclusive traveller who prefers privacy and exclusivity.
Sable Camp only accommodates fourteen guests in five supreme rooms and a family chalet called the Lion Den. Each suite provides every conceivable luxury while the decor is Afro-colonial chic. Set in a prime and elevated position overlooking the Sand River, your room is the ideal place to soak up the view of passing animals.
The main lodge is decorated with African artworks and colonial relics and while the atmosphere is warm, relaxing and thoroughly inviting, it's also the ideal venue to spend time between game drives enjoying the safari bar as well as cooling off in the swimming pool.
The library, satellite television and internet connectivity gives you the option to stay in touch with the world if need be otherwise bird watching and photography prove to be a better means of getting to know another world!
During your stay you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with the excellent Mala Mala rangers. Leopard and cheetah abound in the area and your ranger will explain the exciting details of life in the wild, as well as the different plants and animals.
The Sable Camp does not accommodate children under the age of twelve unless the entire camp is reserved exclusively.
