Features and facilities at the Tinga lodges are similar. Wooden walkways thread through the riverine forest connecting the thatched buildings of the main lodge to nine thatch and wood suites, which are spacious and extremely luxurious, each boasting a gorgeous en suite bathroom, outdoor shower, and private deck with a plunge pool.
Living areas at the main lodge’s are vast and provide a cool escape from soaring day time temperatures in the Kruger National Park, as do scenic swimming pools. Décor in the lounge, library and bar is elegantly ethnic with a colonial feel. A river deck has incredible views and is the venue for delicious alfresco meals. At night a huge fire is lit in the boma and guests gather around for a lantern-lit dinner, where fine wines are sourced from Tinga’s extensive local and international selection.
