A unique feature of Jaci’s Safari Lodge is the huge termite mound around which the main lodge has been built. The lodge is lavishly decorated with colourful, fun and quirky features and fittings. Eight canvas and stone suites have a central ceramic fireplace; en suite bathrooms have the added bonus of an outside shower; and a private deck overlooks a waterhole that is popular with the game.
Jaci’s Safari Lodge’s main camp houses an open plan lounge and dining room where guests have uninterrupted views of the bush. Meals are either served here; under the stars in the boma; or at a special bush venue.
Children are most welcome at Jaci’s Safari Lodge where they are treated to special turndowns and their own ‘jungle safari’ game drives. Baby sitters can also be arranged to allow parents time to unwind.
Daily game drives and walking safari’s through Madikwe Game Reserve are a treat as the reserve is well populated with all the big game and in addition to the ‘Big Five’, guests might spot wild dog, giraffe and numerous species of antelope.
