Jaci's Tree Lodge, Madikwe accommodation
Jaci’s Tree Lodge, in Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa, is a highly attractive safari destination as Madikwe is a malaria-free game reserve offering all of the ‘Big Five’ and more.
X-Factors of Jaci's Tree Lodge
- Enchanting, luxurious ‘tree houses’
- Child friendly
- Malaria-free game reserve
Like its sister camp, Jaci’s Safari Lodge; Jaci’s Tree Lodge is colourfully and quirkily decorated and indulges guests with luxurious accommodation and attentive service. The eight ‘tree houses’ are constructed around leadwood and tambotie trees on the banks of the Marico River. Large stone baths and open air showers are wonderful features of the open plan bathrooms. Jaci’s welcomes children of all ages and special turn-downs and ‘jungle safari’ game drives make their stay extra special. Baby sitters can also be arranged.
Raised wooden walkways connect the tree houses to the main camp at Jaci’s Tree Lodge, which showcases interesting South African crafts. The main camp is open plan and guests can sit in quiet contemplation on the patio; read a book in the lounge; or meet for a drink at the bar in the evenings. A forest pool is wonderfully peaceful retreat. Meals are prepared in the spotlessly clean open-plan kitchen and served in the dining room or alfresco on an enchanting deck amidst the trees.
Exciting game drives and walking safaris through the Madikwe Game Reserve could reveal the ‘Big Five’, cheetah, wild dog, giraffe and much more; as well as a multitude of different bird species.
