The Reserve shares a fenceless border with the Kruger National Park.

Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp is designed to reflect Hemingway's Africa. This tented camp is nestled in a Tamboti grove overlooking a dry river bed. Game visiting the nearby waterhole can be seen from the swimming pool deck. Honeyguide Khoka Moya also has 12 large tents, this time furnished in a contemporary yet comfortable style. A private outdoor seating area in front of each tent allows guests to relax and take in sights and sounds of the bush.

In an intimate setting with complete privacy, the luxury, air-conditioned Tintswalo Manor House is ideally suited for families and small groups. The large, thatched lodge has a lovely swimming pool, deep shaded patio and traditional boma overlooking the pristine wilderness reserve. Nestled between the Sabi Sand, Timbavati and Kruger Park, it abounds in big five game and spectacular bird life. Manyeleti is about a five hour direct drive from Johannesburg. There are also daily flights from Johannesburg into Hoedspruit Airport, followed by a road transfer of 45 minutes. Alternatively there are daily charter flights with Nel Air into the Manyeleti Reserve. If you are flying into the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Nelspruit, a "lodge-hop" will drive you into the reserve.

The best time to visit is from July to mid October. During these months, it is dry and cool offering pleasant game viewing weather. As there is not much rainfall during winter in the reserve, the animals congregate around the waterholes so are easier to find. The bush is also thinner. Summer is the rainy season. The bush is green and lush and much thicker making game harder to spot.
