Located in the Warmwaterberg Mountains, Sanbona Wildlife Reserve celebrates the soul and spirit of the Little Karoo.
Dwyka Tented Lodge is set in the bend of a dry Karoo ravine and has 9 luxurious and secluded tents with private decks. All the tents are air-conditioned and have underfloor heating. The en-suite bathroom has indoor and outdoor showers. The lodge is surrounded by awe-inspiring rock formations and has a pioneering atmosphere. There is a lovely lounge and dining area, an open air boma and a wine cellar. Guests can also enjoy treatments at the Relaxation Retreat.
Gondwana Lodge is ideal for families. With views across the dam of the plains and onto a range of mountians, Gondwana Lodge is the perfect location to get away and enjoy a luxurious wilderness experience. The lodge has twelve suites with private patio or balcony. Interleading rooms are available. The suites are air-conditioned and have underfloor heating. En suite bathrooms have indoor showers. Gondwana Lodge has a convivial Lounge, bar and dining area, an open air boma area, and a children's play area. There is a Swimming pool with a shallow end and the lodge has a perimetre electric fence. For tired parents, there is a Relaxation Retreat with 2 x therapy rooms.

Only three hours from Cape Town, a highlight of a visit to Sanbona is the opportunity to see the world’s only wild pride of White lions. They have been been rescued from captivity and re-introduced inoto the natural habitat in Sandona Wildlife Reserve.
Proudly ocupying over 54000 hectares of serene mountains and plains, there’s plenty to see and do at Sanbona. Leopard, elephant, buffalo, hippo and numerous species of antelope can also be seen during game drives as well viewing ancient rock art, birdwatching and the ability to learn about the numerous species of plants in the area during guided nature walks.
