Nestled under a pocket of Acacia tees, Swala Camp sits on the edge of the Gurusi wetlands, where the great expanse of the savannah meets the Tarangire National Park.
Here, large concentrations of wildlife and numerous elephants have all made their presence the defining feature of Swala Camp. Set in the south western section of the park, the camp is in a position to offer secluded and private safari excursions, where the rugged wilderness has never been diminished by the effects of mass tourism.
With a colonial African theme, the camp provides a sense of a by-gone era while also offering an exclusive safari experience in a mesmerising location.
Comprising of 9 individual and private tents constructed entirely from locally sourced materials, the camp provides en suite bathroom facilities and tastefully selected safari-style furnishings and finishes in all the tents.
Built on raised wooden decks, the tent’s verandas are all positioned to provide a beautiful view of the waterhole, which attracts an array of wildlife throughout the year.
