Lake Manyara
Don’t overlook Lake Manyara in your haste to get to the Serengeti. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree climbing lions and abundance of leopards, so remember to look up so you don’t miss them!
At the base of the Great Rift Valley and two thirds of the park being water there are thousands of flamingos and an amazing diversity of birds and hippo.
With great game viewing all through the year, Lake Manyara combines well with the Ngorongoro Crater if you are traveling outside of the Great Migration season of November to July
