The remote Mwaleshi Camp is located in North Luangwa and showcases Zambia at its wildest.
Mwaleshi Camp is very intimate with just four rustic reed chalets positioned alongside the scenic Mwaleshi River, running through Zambia's North Luangwa National Park.
Walking safaris are a speciality at Mwaleshi Camp and traversing this wild and unspoilt region on foot is an awesome experience, revealing the rare Cookson's wildebeest and huge herds of buffalo. A large population of lion at Mwaleshi Camp adds to the thrill! Bird 'specials' in the North Luangwa are the crowned crane, purple crested loerie, broad billed roller, Lilian's lovebird, the carmine bee-eater, giant eagle owl and Pel's fishing owl and, occasionally the bathawk, black coucal and osprey. Mwaleshi Camp remains a superb safari lodge experience.
