Day 1 – 3: Kruger National Park, Jock Safari Lodge
You will be met at Johannesburg International Airport by a representative from Southern Destinations, who will hand over your travel documents and assist you with boarding your flight to Jock Safari Lodge. A game ranger will collect you from the airstrip and drive you back to camp in an open landrover…and so the safari begins. Accommodation, food and wine at Jock Safari Lodge are exceptional and your sensational honeymoon suite will have its own plunge pool and outdoor sala. Dinners under the stars in the fire-lit boma are a wonderfully romantic experience. Jocks’ team of experienced rangers will share their in-depth knowledge of the fauna, flora and history of the Kruger National Park during captivating daily game drives, walking safaris, birding safaris and historical tours.
Day 4 – 7: Bazaruto Archipelago, Marlin Lodge
Today you will transfer back to Kruger International Airport for a direct flight on to Vilanculos in Mozambique. On arrival you will be transported down to the harbour to take a boat to Marlin Lodge on the idyllic island of Bazaruto, where life happens at a very leisurely pace. Tranquil thatched suites open directly onto the beach and feature a private open air shower. Spend your honeymoon sunning yourself at the pool, on the beach or in a hammock; or take to the water to dive, snorkel, go dhow boat sailing or take part in various water activities.
Day 8: Departure
Bid farewell to the island and head back to Vilanculos where you catch a flight back to Johannesburg International Airport.
