Day 1
On arrival to Johannesburg Airport you pick up your rental car, a group B with air-con. Make your way to Camp Shawu in the Southern part of the Kruger National Park. The drive will take you about 4 hours and is on excellent roads.
Accommodation at Camp Shawu is in a luxurious ensuite tent with stunning views of the dam. Full board and safar activities are included.
Day 2
You are woken up early for morning tea and rusks before setting out with your ranger in a 4x4 vehicle for your morning game drive. You are taken back to the lodge for breakfast and a well deserved siesta. In the late afternoon you once again head out for a game drive, this time you will have a chance to see both the Big Five and the nocturnal animals.
Accommodation is at Camp Shawu with full board and safari activities.
Day 3
After your morning game drive you drive back to Johannesburg where you drop off the hire car.
Option:
If you prefer not to drive too far, you could get the hire car at the Kruger Airport which is a 1,5 hour drive from Camp Shawu.
