TOUR INTINERARY AND TOUR FACTS
Day 1 – 4: Cape Town, Welgelegen Guest House
You will be met by a representative from Southern Destinations, who will hand over your travel documents and assist you with your car hire. Check into the gracious Welgelegen Guesthouse then set about discovering the sensational city of Cape Town and its wealth of sightseeing attractions.

Day 5 - 6: Stellenbosch, Sugarbird Manor
Take a scenic drive into the winelands to Sugarbird Manor in Stellenbosch. Explore the historic university town of Stellenbosch and the many wine estates on the Stellenbosch wine route.

Day 7 - 8: Franschhoek, Akademie Street Guest House
Move on from Stellenbosch to the neighbouring region of Franschhoek - the Gourmet Capital of the Cape. Main Street is lined with art galleries, boutiques and many superb restaurants; and fine wines can sampled along the Franschhoek wine route.

Day 9: Klein Karoo, The Retreat
Set off along Route 62, one of the most beautiful travel routes in South Africa. The country road meanders through the fertile valleys of the Klein Karoo, past rugged rock formations. Spectacular scenery is constantly changing: a photographers dream! Spend a night at The Retreat in the central Karoo, where magnificent sunsets turn the semi-arid scrubland all shades of pink.

Day 10 - 12: Garden Route, Elephant Hide Guest House
Continue your journey through Oudsthoorn, along the renowned Garden Route to George and then follow the stunning coastline to Knysna. After checking in at Elephant Hide, spend the rest of the day shopping and exploring Knysna’s bustling town. Other activities in the area include golf, Tree Top Tours (a thrilling adrenaline activity in the Knysna Forests), oceans safaris and walking with elephants to mention but a few.

Day 13: Departure
Make your way back to George Airport to return your hired car and connect back to JHB or Cape Town.
