The allure of Chobe Under Canvas is that guests have the opportunity to experience an authentic safari in non-permanent campsites, which promises close interaction with a variety of wildlife. Located to the north of Botswana and bordering the Chobe River, the Camp is intentionally moved every five to six days to a new private site in order to allow guests to discover different animals in their habitats.

The camps are small and feature only five tents with a maximum allowance of ten guests. Guests are able to relax and let their highly skilled camp hosts pamper them with all the comforts they require, as well as some unexpected luxuries. Welcoming butlers and local chefs serve up delicious Pan African cuisine which can be enjoyed around the camp fire under African stars amongst laughter and tales of wild animals.

The surrounding area is home to the entire Big Five and is renowned for the large herds of elephant and buffalo that roam here as well as two antelope species found nowhere else, the Chobe bushbuck and puku. The combination of dry savannah with permanent swamp and the vast floodplains of the river offer guests the opportunity to observe elephant families, rafts of hippo, herds of buffalo and gigantic Nile crocodiles, as well as lion, spotted hyenas and zebra, sable and lechwe to name but a few.
