Day 1 - 5 Cape Town : Cape Cadogan

cape townArrive into Cape Town where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.  You will have private and scheduled tours around Cape Town visiting Table Mountain, Robben Island, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape Point and other popular sights around town.

Cape Cadogan is one of the finest Cape Town Boutique Hotels on offer.  Situated at the foot of Table Mountain just minutes from the City centre. Each room offers spectacular views over the city, Table Mountain and Cape Town Harbour. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable and elegantly chic; perfect to just relax. Great restaurants and trendy shops are close by. Beautiful Camps Bay and Clifton beaches are just over the Nek.

Day 5 - 7 Hermanus : Mosselberg on Grotto

hermanus whaleAfter breakfast and check out, an Avis representative will meet you at Boutique Manolo to deliver your hire car. The vehicle comes with unlimited mileage, premium insurance cover and a GPS unit. You will then drive to the coastal town of Hermanus. Hermanus is best known for its shore-based whale watching. Nature lovers from all over the world visit Hermanus to view the Southern Right Whale from the cliffs. The whales arrive in around July. From here you will go on a boat based whale watching tour in Gaansbaai

Mosselberg on Grotto Beach is a 5 star guesthouse offering magnificent views of the majestic Mosselberg Mountains and the Blue Flag Grotto Beach in Hermanus. All rooms are luxuriously decorated and individually named after different aspects of the area.

Day 7 - 9 Stellenbosch : Majeka House

winelandsDepart Hermanus and drive to Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch is in the heart of the winelands and a perfect base from which to explore the surrounds.

Day 9 - 13 Sabi Sands : Lion Sands River Lodge

crouching leapardDepart Stellenbosch and drive to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Nelspruit. Upon arrival at Nelspruit Airport, you will be transferred to your lodge.

Lion Sands River Lodge is built on the banks of the Sabie River in the popular Sabi Sands Game Reserve. The Sabi Sands is well known for its high concentration of wildlife through both the dry and wet seasons. The rooms have en suite bathrooms with pebbled floors and both an indoor and outdoor shower. Private viewing decks are a quiet spot to contemplate the wilderness, as is the lounge and bar area with open sides. A turquoise swimming pool just meters from the river has arguably the best game viewing in the camp. Lalamuka, meaning ‘unwind’ in Shangaan, is an appropriate name for the spa at Lion Sands River Lodge and offers a range of health and beauty treatments.

Day 11 Sabi Sands : Chalkley Treehouse at Lion Sands

tree houseYou will be taken to the treehouse at sunset, where drinks and a delicious picnic dinner await. The treehouse is a secure bush bedroom under the African stars, with all the comforts that a guest can experience at a five star safari lodge. Enjoy the hours of African dusk relaxing and absorbing the beauty and sounds of the bushveld as it transforms from day to night, before turning in for slumber beneath the stars.

As dawn breaks, you will be collected by a ranger for a morning game drive, followed by a delicious bush breakfast at one of the many animal and bird hides.

Day 13 Departure
