The twelve extremely spacious tents are placed long-side to the view over the plain, so that even the bathroom has a view and the private verandah runs the whole length with a day bed as well as table and chairs and a hammock.
The king-sized beds are very comfortable and the en-suite bath room provides flush toilets and traditional hot water canvas showers with quality eco-friendly toiletries. Elephants, giraffe and herds of game wander past and there are no paths or fences to interrupt the view.
The main area has a comfortable lounge, dining area and camp fire overlooking a salt-lick where wild-life gathers. Delicious three course meals are freshly prepared, with excellent vegetarian options, often served al fresco in surprise locations lit by lanterns under a canopy of stars.
The varied game drives explore all the different terrains of the conservancy with prolific sightings of lions and other big cats even in the low season. During the July to October Great Migration guests can choose an all day safari into the adjoining Masai Mara Game Reserve and there are also bush walks, night drives and visits to a local Masai village for a fuller experience of the area.
