Cape Town, Kruger and Vic Falls

Dear Lise and Dilaal,

This was one amazing trip, thank you! Everything was wonderful, and everything worked without any issue. Well….everything except the weather in Cape Town. Too bad you couldn’t do something about that, too 🙁

Our sharks trip was canceled due to the weather, and we never got up on Table Mountain. But we went up on Signal Hill (very, very windy but great views) and visited more wineries than planned. Can’t go wrong with that, and we have a reason to return.

Everything else was perfect. All the guesthouses and lodges you selected were great, and the staff wonderful. All transfers were on time, and we had the same driver on all of them, so we got to know him more and chat with him more during the drives.

The safari part was fantastic, and we got to see a lot of animals and birds. We will definitely be back to Africa. Not in the next couple of years, but soon. Definitely a return trip to South Africa (we really want to see cheetahs) and then Namibia and Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda…and who knows what else. I hope you can help us plan.

The drought impacted Zambezi river, and the falls were very low, but I’m still happy we got to see them. I can only imagine how it must be in March.

Oh, not to be forgotten: food in Cape Town (and everywhere else) was fabulous, with La Colombe deserving all its good reviews I’ve read before this trip.

Thanks again for everything, and we’ll contact you again for our future trips to Africa.

Ioana and Mark
