A family safari to Elephant Camp and a Chobe Princess cruise

Hi Ilze,

Once again, we would like to thank you so much for all your efforts on our behalf when SAA cabin crew were on strike, for tackling the lack of service that we experienced from Table Bay Hotel and also for the lovely table cloths that we received upon our arrival in Cape Town.

We would not have got to Elephant Camp at all had it not been for your intervention and I cannot praise your service more highly.  We lost one whole day in Elephant Camp which was a paradise and a truly unique experience.  The staff were magnificent and worked hard to ensure that we enjoyed most of the experiences on offer including a walk in the bush with Sylvester, the tame cheetah, sunset drinks overlooking the gorge, up-close interaction with a herd of orphaned elephants and a personal guided tour of the Victoria Falls.  Not bad for 24 hours.  We saw the Vic Falls at 6.45 in the morning and there was only a small group of Americans there so we had the park to ourselves.

Elephant Camp even turned my laundry round in about 4 hours – amazing.  The food and general hospitality was absolutely first class.

Then came the Chobe River Cruise.  Again, all superlatives.  We were on Chobe 1 which was hosted by Robert.  We had some brilliant game viewing twice a day.  The river has flooded the plains and so is more like the Okavango Delta. The food and service was all excellent.  It was truly magical.

Ilze, you have been an absolute star throughout firstly for arranging such a magical holiday and then for sorting out our flight cancellation problem.

With very best wishes,

Janet
