NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE NOTTENS BUSH CAMP…

Hi Liesl,

What an amazing experience. Everything could not have been more perfect….every accommodation, every meal, everyone we met ,all we learned, the sites we visited – gorgeous, warm, welcoming, relaxing, beautiful, delicious, etc etc.

The Garden Route was perfect. Jay did an amazing job with the driving – I was very tense sitting in the passenger seat though on those curvy roads. The mountains were beautiful though! I took over 4,000 pictures this trip and have gotten it down to 1300!

Plett was beautiful, The Robberg gorgeous – we did the short “easy” hike. On the way stopped at Knysna heads – wow – and the Elephant Park, (wouldn’t have if we knew were would see SO many elephants on safari), Monkeyland and the birds of Eden – loved them both. On the way from Plett to Port Elizabeth went to Storms River Mouth – the most beautiful! As well as down 102 (or was it 201?) down the curvy road, pass more baboons down to the beach down there. Pretty. Also stopped at Bloukrans Bridge and watched the bungee jumping – unbelievable! Our friend from Port Elizabeth told us to do all this – she was right on.

No words can describe Nottens Bush Camp. Loved the people, the large room, porch, shower, the food was amazing – mostly vegetarian. There were only 12 of us, 2 jeeps. Perfect – saw ALL the animals, what an experience. One couple was on their 21st safari and they said it was the best – the jeeps could go off road, the small nature of the camp, everything, very personal. IT WAS a perfect way to end our vacation. So peaceful and awesome.

You couldn’t have booked us in better places. We were overwhelmed at how nice each one was, the space we had, the people and the food. And the gorgeous sites. Truly.

Thank you for spoiling us – we are recommending this trip to everyone!  Wearing the necklace – got lots of compliments. Thanks!!
All the best,
C
