Royal Zambezi Lodge

Nestled on the banks of the Zambezi River, Royal Zambezi Lodge is the epitome of luxury. From the architecture, to every detail of its serene-yet-deluxe décor, Royal Zambezi impresses. The family-owned property is ideally located on the edge of the Lower Zambezi National Park, directly opposite the Mana Pools, perfect for ease of access to activities, from game fishing to guided canoe trips. The lodge offers accommodation in 10 Classic Suites and in four Deluxe Suites. The tented suites are nestled under the shade of old trees and decorated in natural, soothing tones, complete with en-suite baths.

Staying at Royal Zambezi is all about activities, exploring the river and experiencing the magic of Victoria Falls, but never ones to neglect the fine art of relaxation, the owners added a full spa to the lodge, The Royal Zambezi Lodge Touch Spa. The Spa offers a vast menu of treatments, all of which are performed by trained therapists.

The Spa is the first and only bush spa in Zambia, and takes its inspiration from its beautiful surroundings, offering signature treatments using local ingredients from the African bush. The Spa also boasts an outdoor Jacuzzi and plunge pool which can be enjoyed whilst sipping on a refreshing juice.

Start your perfect day at Royal Zambezi Lodge with a continental and cooked breakfast, in a dining room overlooking the Zambezi. Lunch is served in the form of gourmet picnics or as outdoor buffets, whilst dinners are a celebration of another beautiful day in Africa, served at private tables under the night sky, or enjoyed on the private deck of the your suite.

After a day spent taking part in any number of ‘bucket list’ activities, such as hot air ballooning over the waterfalls, canoeing past elephant tribes, game viewing or relaxing on a sunset cruise, guests will enjoy the luxury and comfort of the Classic and Deluxe Suites.

The Classic Suites are tented suites but offer everything you could want from a safari suite. The Deluxe Suites are spacious, with indoor lounging areas, a copper roll-top bath, a plunge pool, shower – and of course breathtaking views.
