Set into a green wooded hillside overlooking a natural spring, Impodimo Game Lodge offers affordable luxury in the beautiful, malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve. One of South Africa’s lesser known reserves, just 3 ½  hours’ drive from Johannesburg, Madikwe is rich in game, including all the Big 5 and the rare wild dog. In the airy spaces of the main lodge, relax in the bar where a central fireplace provides the atmosphere of a camp fire, or on fine summer nights eat the excellent dinners outside in the boma and enjoy the starry African sky. While away afternoons between game drives by the swimming pool or in the sala overlooking the waterhole, or enjoy a therapeutic massage on your private deck.
