Jabali Ridge is the ultimate luxury camp for guests who want to experience a real African safari, without compromising on modern comforts. Located in the Ruaha National Park in Tanzania, this sophisticated camp is perfectly situated for game viewing along the Mwagusi River. The area supports large numbers of lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo that guests can view on various safari activities.
The main camp overlooks an iconic African landscape, cocooned amongst the boulders and vegetation of the kopje. Care has been taken to ensure that the design of the camp is as sympathetic to nature as possible. Louvre shutter doors can be fully opened, allowing for spectacular views.
There are eight suites surrounding a central dining and relaxation area, all constructed from wood, stone and thatch. Each suite has a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with rain shower and flush toilet, ceiling fans and WiFi.
Jabali Ridge main camp is suitable for families with children over 5 years old.
Jabali House, a private villa located near to the main camp, is ideal for families with younger children. This three-bedroom (all en-suite) house allows for a more flexible itinerary and provides absolute privacy. The villa includes a private chef, safari guide and vehicle so that guests can explore the area at leisure.
Guests at Jabali Ridge and Jabali House enjoy delicious meals – from bush picnics to breakfast overlooking the veld, to gourmet dinners under the stars. Safari activities are conducted by highly trained guides and include game drives, night drives, and walking tours. The area is renown for a multitude of game, including the big cats (lion, leopard and cheetah), the Big 5 and various other mammals and antelope.
When not on safari, guests can relax at camp. There are a comfortable lounge and bar area, as well as a swimming pool. For ultimate relaxation, guests can visit the spa and receive a variety of massage and wellness treatments.
