Wilderness Safaris’ Linyanti Tented Camp, holds a privileged position in Botswana’s Linyanti Concession close to the Savute Channel. This remote camp overlooks the floodplains providing excellent in-camp game-viewing and the opportunity for guided game and bird walks, boat excursions and day and night drives in this iconic habitat. The area is famous for excellent year-round game viewing and massive herds of elephant in the dry season.
Linyanti Tented Camp has 4 spacious tents built on elevated decks and boasting views over the marshes. The tents exude simple safari style with high-quality finishes and linens. Each tent is en-suite with flush toilets and very easy to use bucket showers. There are 220V charging outlets in the room for cameras, phones and laptops although there is no internet signal in this remote area.
Likewise, the elevated communal spaces offer comfortable seating for game viewing as well as a traditional boma for dining under the stars, a fire pit, an open-sided dining and lounge area and a plunge pool.
Lion, elephant, giraffe, zebra and hippo are some of the species most often seen around Linyanti Tented Camp. You can also expect to see plenty of buffalo, wildebeest, sable antelope, leopard and hyena, while cheetah, eland and wild dog are considered lucky sightings. Birdlife is prolific with over 400 species recorded and opportunities for photography abound.
