Molori Safari Lodge is situated in the middle of the beautiful 75 000- hectare Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province of South Africa. Thought to be one of the most luxurious safari experiences there is, this five-suite retreat combines an intimate safari experience with breathtaking views and an abundance of game. Originally built as the owner’s own private escape, it was revamped and opened to the public in 2007 as the intimate, luxurious safari destination it is today. The five open-air suites are thoughtfully situated to ensure maximum privacy and each has its own wooden deck, private infinity pool and floor-to-ceiling glass walls, which retract completely to allow the outside in.

Decorated in a manner that blends local elements with a flair of international design, Molori Safari Lodge caters to the well-heeled and most discerning of travellers intent on getting away from it all.

Guests are free to make use of the two infinity pools and heated Jacuzzi at the main lodge, as well as the second Jacuzzi, which is situated up on the highest mountainside deck. There is a library with a large selection of books for guests to choose from, as well as a prized selection of imported cigars. A fitness centre and a spa are also available, as well as access to a number of golf courses. Plus, anyone with gastronomic flair is invited to enjoy a one-on-one culinary course with an expert chef.

Take a game drive with one of Molori’s knowledgeable guides and experience tracking the Big 5 as well as learning all about the wonders of African wildlife. All game drives take place in a specially designed 4×4 with an armed guide. If you prefer to explore the area on foot, Molori offers a life-changing bush tracking experience. Keen fishermen are invited to explore the Groot Marico River, which runs through the park and offers many tranquil fishing spots as well as the opportunity to spot hippos.

Ngwedi Premier Suite (Sleeps 2)

The Ngwedi Suite offers 232 square metres of comfort and elegance. A cutom-designed rose-hued sofa anchors the large living and lounge area, positioned on one side of the suite’s impressive floor-to-ceiling fireplace. An eclectic use of furniture can be found througout the suite, including a contemporary feeling combined with rustic elements. The bedroom unfolds onto a private Saligna wood deck.

Lesedi Premier Suite (Sleeps 2)

Measuring a generous 232 square metres, the Lesedi Suite is fitted with all the comforts of home-accentuated by the streaming light of the African sun. Handcrafted furnishings, such as the zebra skin chest of drawers. Alongside are carefully selected contemporary pieces. The suite’s lounge is seperated from the bedroom by a cylindrical floor-to-ceiling stone-clad fireplace. Retractable glass walls open up to reveal a private infinity pool.

Sephiri Family Premier Suite (Sleeps 4)

Approximately 315 square metres, the split-level Sephiri Suite can sleep up to four guests and is ideal for families. Step down into the main level from the entrance, where a spacious bedroom, living room and study await. Designed in a soothing neutral colour, the suite showcases custom contemporary furniture, the retractable floor-to-ceiling glass doors and living room sperated by a stone-clad fireplace.
