Segera is an upmarket safari lodge on the Laikipia Plateau in northern Kenya. The area supports a variety of animals including lion, elephant and giraffe, that guests can see on 4×4 game drives, guided walks and helicopter excursions. However, what really makes Segera special is the combination of comfort, luxury and stylish decor that includes a superb private collection of African Art from the Zeitz Collection.
This intimate lodge is made up of 6 villas surrounding a central lounge, bar and dining area. Some villas sleep just 2 guests and are perfect for couples, while larger villas are suited to families. The accommodation is sumptuously decorated and includes spacious en-suite bathrooms and private indoor and outdoor lounge areas. Certain villas also include a private swimming pool.
All villas include a dedicated attendant to cater to guests’ needs and make their stay as comfortable as possible.
The main area of the lodge is a welcoming space where guests can relax in the lounge or by the pool. Meals are prepared using locally sourced, organic and free-range ingredients by our expertly trained kitchen team.
Eco and cultural sustainability is important at Segera. The resort has a farm-to-table approach and supports local agriculture. Guests can visit the Centre for the 4Cs and find out more about how the resort is committed to finding a balance between Conservation, Community, Culture and Commerce.
