Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana
Game viewing at its best is found in the animal rich Moremi Game Reserve. Here you will see huge herds of animals, predators making their kills and even the rhino, thanks to the rhino reintroduction programme. If you have a reasonably high budget, the Moremi is where it is all happening.
The Moremi lies within the heart of the Okavango Delta, Africa’s most remarkable wetland paradise. Game viewing is excellent year round. The sheer numbers and variety of large mammals in the Moremi defy description.
Around the Moremi Game Reserve are large private reserves (locally known as concessions) that are leased out to safari companies under strict guidelines and carrying capacities. These private reserves offer the very best safari experiences with massive tracts of pristine parkland and privacy encountered in very few places in Africa these days. One can go out all day in some areas and not see another soul, besides the animals on the savannah
