The main lodge at Camp Okavango is also thatched and includes a lounge area, cocktail bar, a library filled with extensive wildlife reference books, and a dining room which leads onto a generous open-air deck with magnificent views over the Delta, perfect for brunches or afternoon teas. The Camp has a secluded bird hide from where a diverse number of birdlife can be seen. Guests can also make use of a sundeck with a plunge pool for cooling off in the heat of the day.

The newly renovated Camp Okavango has been built using a variety of modern, non-invasive, building techniques. Along with the eco-friendly design of the lodge, it is now run entirely on renewable solar energy.

At Camp Okavango, there are a range of water based game-viewing activities on offer. Accompanied by skilled guides, guests are expertly steered through the many waterways of the Okavango Delta in a traditional mokoro (dug-out canoe) or can choose to view the wildlife from the comfort of a motorized boat. For those guests who would prefer to track larger game by foot guided walking tours on the Camps many surrounding islands are on offer.
