Elewana Kifaru House is a small safari lodge located in the Lewa Conservancy in Kenya. This area is best known for its healthy black and white rhino populations, as well as the Big 5, on game drives and guided walks. Kifaru House is great for families and small groups and offers safari experiences, birding, guided hikes and lovely surprises like a sumptuous sunrise breakfast in the bush!
Elewana Kifaru House comprises five thatch and stone cottages set in beautiful gardens, with views of the plains. Four of the cottages have one bedroom with a king size bed, while the fifth has two interleading double rooms, ideal for families. All rooms are en-suite, and tastefully furnished in natural textures.
A small resort offering total exclusivity and exceptional personalized service, Elewana Kifaru House accommodates just 12 guests. The communal sitting room, bar and dining room extend onto a large terrace where guests can enjoy breakfast lunch and dinner in the fresh air, overlooking the waterhole where animals congregate daily. The hotel also boasts an excellent library and an infinity pool.
Experienced guides take guests on daily game drives and safari walks through the Lewa Conservancy. Both black and white rhino are plentiful in the conservancy, with regular sightings of other animals such as leopard, lion, cheetah and the rare Grevy’s zebra. Other activities include excursions to Ngare Ndare Forest (famous for its monkey population), horse or camel riding, and cultural visits to nearby Samburu communities.
Elewana Kifaru House is a wonderful family-friendly resort, but it’s also perfect for honeymooners and caters for weddings, and offers all-inclusive wedding packages.
