The camp has only four chalets ensuring the utmost exclusivity and intimacy at any time. The chalets are made from stone and beautifully decorated offering guests all the comforts one might expect from such a romantic destination. The bedrooms are large and airy, opening on to a private viewing verandah. Each chalet has an en suite bathroom with a fabulous sunken stone bath, twin basins and a flushing toilet. There is also a great shower, but guests must remember to request hot water for the morning.
The camp’s main area has the most exquisite view of the Kapamba River and its surroundings. With a relaxed, informal atmosphere with a focus on comfort, it’s the perfect place to relax and soak up the ambience. There are several comfy chairs and benches dotted around the lounge area for in-between game viewing, an open dining room and a small yet well-stocked bar.
The large wooden viewing deck is the heart of the camp where guests can sit and enjoy the unforgettable view of the animals drinking from the river. Candlelit dinners are also served here, providing one of the most romantic experiences imaginable.
Guests are offered a mix of night and day game drives as well as walking safari tours. The area is teeming with elephant, lion, giraffe and leopard as well as fascinating birdlife.
