Bordered by the waters of the warm Indian Ocean along the east coast, Mozambique is a favourite honeymoon destination. And it's easy to see why! Miles upon miles of soft white sands surround the beautiful coral islands of the archipelagos. Crystal clear turquoise waters lap the shores and offer a tropical playground for scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, just floating and game fishing.

The Bazaruto Archipelago is a glorious collection of palm-fringed islands. Quirimbas Archipelago is another stretch of 32 stunning coral islands, most of them uninhabited and untouched. Pemba is the gateway to the Quirimbas Archipelago, but also has a coral reef close to shore. Inhambane is a cultural mix of an old and new settlement town, still retaining Arab-styled architecture from its days as an Arab port for the slave trade. And the Gorongoza National Park has many African wildlife species including lion and buffalo.
