The tents are raised off the ground on wooden decks, and each feature a private veranda, high tented ceilings and large windows with sweeping views across the reserve’s immense floodplains. The spacious beds are draped in the finest linen while mosquito nets complete the authentic African interior. The main lounge, dining room and bar are all open-air and positioned under the cool canopy of fig and ebony trees. There is also a large, private plunge pool set slightly away from the main area, from where you can observe the wildlife as they come to drink at the river. Dinner can be enjoyed al fresco and the famous Duba staff choir will often entertain guests with their haunting song and dance. For those eager to pick up a local treasure, a small curio shop (which was completely revamped in Feb 2012) is available.
