We took 800+ pictures so selecting 80 for our Apple i- book was quite challenging

We absolutely loved Kenya & Elephant Pepper camp! Allison & Tom are the perfect hosts, so welcoming & fun, the laid back luxury vibe is spot on, service is top-notch & the animal viewing off the charts! Our guide, George, was simply the best. We fell in love with this ‘gentle giant’ His patience & ability to spot was like no other! Seeing a lion stalk & then take down a 4 mos old giraffe was surreal.

Traveling through Tanzania, the Serengeti, Lake Masek, Ngorongoro Crater, Karatu & Arusha was amazing! Mount Kilimanjaro mostly hid from us but seeing the massive base was still awesome. What an experience to witness the Migration AND a wildebeest birth AND see a black rhino!! Wow!

Kusini Camp was a gem! Es and Van are so warm & welcoming and go above and beyond to make every guest feel special, as does their entire staff! The accommodations were pure luxury, the food spectacular, and the sundowners on the kopjes exceptional.

Gibb’s Farm was also pure perfection! What an incredible sanctuary yet a real working organic farm?! The best choice for us to simply rest & relax before our journey home. Best rain shower & soaking tub ever, esp after a week of taking in the dust! Even SP said I looked like a different person when he picked us up to take us to KIA airport-Lol! He was also a great guide.

As for Asanja, it was unfortunate, but we are still in awe that you solved it so expertly & efficiently, esp from SA & with us being in central Serengeti with barely any internet!? We can’t thank you enough!

Of course, we accept the refund they are offering-we is quite surprised by this gesture?!

The management for Asanja really has the challenge to bring their camp up to the level of service that they advertise. I took the brochure and as we read each sentence of what they promise and what we experienced, well it definitely feels like a ‘bait and switch’ ad campaign.

But like I told SP as we drove away from there,

“It’s water under the bridge, let’s turn the page, we leave all that negative energy behind”. And that’s exactly what we did!
