Situated overlooking the breathtakingly beautiful Xugana Lagoon on a private concession, Xugana Island Lodge is renowned for being one of the most tranquil and peaceful Botswana Safari offerings. Xugana Island Lodge comprises of just eight reed and thatch en-suits chalets, all lagoon-facing with their own private viewing decks. The chalets are furnished in traditional African Safari style, complete with protective mosquito nets and warm wooden floors. The lodge can accommodate a maximum of sixteen guests only and lies tucked away on the shaded fringe of an island with spectacular water views on all sides.
The main lodge consists of an open-sided thatched dining area, lounge and bar, all set back under the cool canopy of African Mangosteen and ebony trees. There is also a swimming pool located to the back of the lodge in the rolling lawns of the mature gardens, perfect for cooling off in the heat of the day.
