Each raised, luxury tent has its own large, private deck from which you can view the animal and birdlife from your hammock or easy chair, or enjoy a romantic private dinner. The interiors of the tents are elegant and luxurious, with en-suite bathrooms, a fully stocked mini bar, four-poster bed and a discreet air conditioning.
During the day, guests can enjoy an open 4×4 drive in the early morning and late afternoon, as well as bush walks with a trained and professional team of guides. Night spotlight game drives and star gazing presentations are made after dinner. A visit to the local village can also be arranged for those guests hoping for a real cultural experience.
If you prefer to stay at the camp and relax there is a hide, which overlooks the Khwai floodplains. From here you can do some leisurely game viewing at your own convenience. During the dry months the Khwai River is the only permanent water source in the area, meaning there is a wonderful array of animal and bird life that flock along its banks. The area plays regular host to elephant, buffalo, lion, cheetah and wild dogs and is also known for it’s spectacular birding, with an abundance of wild fowl and a famous raptor populations, which including martial eagles, Secretary Birds and Bateleurs as well as a variety of smaller raptors.
