I’m thrilled to be the freshest (!) newest Travel Guru on the Southern Destinations team. I’m certainly no stranger to the Africa Safari industry…
I’ve been in this wonderful world of travel and making people’s dream trips come true for over 15 years! There is never a dull moment and just like the itineraries that I design, every day is different. I enjoy the variety of different enquires that come across my desk – from multi-generational families to honeymooners, to small special interest groups, to guests celebrating special occasions.
For me it’s all about making memories and changing lives.
I love taking my son on exploratory trips to discover and learn about different regions and see new safari destinations, camps, lodges and hotels.
I’ve travelled extensively around South Africa, notably the Kruger region, Kwa-Zulu Natal, the Eastern Cape and the Garden Route. I’ve been to Botswana, Mozambique, Victoria Falls, Kenya and Mauritius.
There is a very special place in my heart for the Okavango Delta in Botswana and Mozambique’s beaches and islands.
I’m very excited to be going gorilla trekking in Uganda in May. I’m also going to get a chance to see the Chimpanzees.
