Resting over the majestic Sand River, the suites affords spectacular views of the lush riverbeds and expansive bushveld that surround the camp. The Sabi Sands Game Reserve is a world famous reserve, forming part of the six million acre Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Park. This area offers several opportunities for Big Five game viewing alongside experienced game views and trackers. Some of the game in the area includes impala, kudu, giraffe, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard.
The Sand River also provides a home to hippo and crocodile and a large variety of birds that inhabit the riverbanks. Bird watching in the area is excellent, offering guests the opportunity to view over 40 species of raptor, such as eagle, owl, kingfishers and weavers.
Morning and evening game drives are taken with experienced guides and trackers, who will take you into the bush in search for the spectacular Big Five. Guests can also enjoy exhilarating game walks through the area to discover the smaller aspects of the reserve.
