Fly-in family trip up through Namibia and into the Okavango Delta

Hi there Liesl,

Sniff, sniff. So very sad to be back…I’ve been on the internet all morning looking at other places to visit in Africa.

The trip was truly unforgetable! Absolutely breathtaking. All went very well after our detour through Keetmanshoop. The boys really, really enjoyed themselves and everyone was very impressed with all the lodgings, food, guides, service….can’t really find fault anywhere.

Namibia was pure bliss and beauty; Botswana was quite thrilling with all the large game complete with sparring leopards and charging black rhinos!

My personal favorite was Vumbura Plains; would definitely like to go back there someday. It was also a nice transition into Mombo Camp. I slept better at Vumbura (not as many screeching/grunting animals at your doorstep 😉 Serra Cafema Camp was also fantastic. We had a great guide named Uzco there.

It was all lovely and impeccably organised and it just got better and better as we progressed.

Many, many thanks for this incredible journey and experience.

PS: Would you happen to know a “Liesl” in the US ;-)? Looking to organise something through the Grand Canyon and etc.
