Chobe National Park, Botswana

Situated in the far north east corner of Botswana, the Chobe National Park and the Chobe River are  easy to get to and cheaper than the rest of Botswana. The Chobe River is the lifeblood of the region. The Chobe National Park is famous for its vast herds of elephants and is the second largest park in Botswana. Chobe is the perfect safari destination to combine with a visit to the Victoria Falls and the nearby Okavango Delta. There is a wide range of accommodation in Chobe from luxurious lodges and camps to more budget-friendly family options. Chobe is a year round destination, but avoid the wet season (Feb, March, April)
