Family safari – Botswana, Vic Falls, Kruger and Cape Town

Hey Lise,

Finally settling in back home and recovering from our jet lag. Here is my debriefing from the trip.

Overall: awesome. best family trip we have ever done. You guys handled everything perfectly. Transfers, flights, recervations all perfect like clockwork.

Arrival: got bags, followed signs to City Lodge w/i airport. Easy. Hotel perfect for what we needed. Breakfast excellent. Quick walk back to terminal.

Flight to Chobe/Kasane easy. Met at airport by Chobe Game Lodge. Only glitch there was they had somebody else’s name on her sign. We quickly figured it out, and they had all our info correctly at the lodge. Loved Chobe (posted review on trip advisor). last day you had us getting picked up by Bushtracks at 9am. I had it changed till 10.00 so we could do am game drive and grab breakfast. No issues. Drive to Livingstone was fine via bush trackers. They were on time and efficient.

Loved the classiness of the Royal Livingstone. Waterfall tour was good as was helicopter tour. Easy flight to Kruger and drive to Kirkman’s long but fine.

Loved Kirkman’s Kamp (reviewed on trip advisor), elephants whisperere interaction kids loved, and drive to Ngala no problem. Loved Ngala Safari Lodge as well(trip advisor). Saw everything. Thing I noticed about ngala was that you had to drive at least 20 minutes to get to the action based upon its location at the tip of the property, vs tented camp which was much closer to center.

Flight to Cape town easy. Loved Cape Town. Probably could have done at least one more day. Charlie’s tour was awesome. Loved the One & Only. A little pricey but beautiful with great service.

Overall was great. You guys did a great job making sure everything went off without a problem. Very smooth and professional the whole way.

David
