After the tumultuous weeks of upheaval and dealing with postponements and cancellations, it is so encouraging to see that we’re getting inquiries for and are quoting on safaris for 2021 and in 2022. While we appreciate that guests are unable to fly to Africa right now, it’s a good time to dream and research. Planning a trip right now is tricky but potentially rewarding as most suppliers are freezing their rates, offering attractive Book Now Pay Later specials and in general offering flexible booking conditions. We’ve always recommended planning a safari well in advance due to the complexities of Africa travel, the fact that the lodges and small and remote and our wish to individually tailor each trip in detail especially for you. Africa offers remote nature, encounters with it’s incredible wildlife and life changing experiences. We think people are really going to need the regenerative qualities of travel to beautiful, wild places to de-stress once the brunt of the Corona Virus has passed! Guests are also going to want to travel more meaningfully and, authentically. We have faith that those who love going on safari will be happy to pay their deposit because they care about conservation and sustainability and wildlife and communities, and will understand that their deposit is going to towards maintaining this vital aspect of tourism to Africa.
